The Lord’s Hand

The Lord’s hand softly reached out

Awakening me this beautiful morn

In my mind He did plant

Beautiful thoughts of His love

A song so sweet to tell me He cares

He started the birds joyously singing

And blew a gentle breeze across my face

I could hear Him saying, "Rejoice in today"

As I arose to rays of sunshine dancing across the floor

All around is the beauty of His creation

Beckoning me to His throne

Humbly to my knees I fall

Resting there in His embrace

Gratefully I sing out my praise

Thanking Him for His wondrous love
